"Celadon City, is the moniker of Oklahoma artist Ethan Strange. Strange has a habit of constant daydreaming and constantly has his head in the clouds. He works to construct stories that build from his past experiences and his deep nostalgia. Starting at 9, Strange decided that music was his tool for finding comfort in the ever so changing world, learning how to embrace the space around him. He found his calling after discovering artists such as Modest Mouse, Radiohead, Postal Service, and Death Cub for Cutie. His exploration into new age electronic and the indie alternative realm, Strange works to mix his organic feelings with digital ambience. Using his imagination, he strives to show his battle with himself and his own fears, and learning to embrace it. He has released his latest work, Excursions, via Left of Field Records, and is releasing his next EP, Oddish, under Allegiance."
